4ArtSake - General info for your grant application
“In the spirit of ConFest”.
• For your grant application provide a budget of materials. This can be an approximation.
• Artists to agree to supply receipts (tax invoices) for all expenditures. Even though items may be cheaper at a garage sale or market, DTE requires a legitimate Tax Invoice as proof of purchase, if this cannot be supplied do not purchase.
• We encourage the use of recycled materials outside of practicals such as paint, nails and screws, however, this is not mandatory.
• Large installations can upon request remain at ConFest, however, smallerpieces are to be looked after by the artist.
• Artwork can be created away from the ConFest. Budget includes transport.
• Artwork will discussed with 4ArtSake Coordinators: Coral and Tania
• Artwork must be safely installed and structurally sound to ensure no injury to the public.
• Artwork plan must include design and materials to be used
• Works CAN include creative art installations, theatre, sculpture, landscaping, monuments, interactive art workshops
• On site we have an overflowing Junk Yard which is great for assemblage art: steel, wood, 44 gallon drums, plastic piping, steel pipes, wood, old whitegoods, bits and pieces
