Starting with arriving at Woomoora for our own self, mental & physical well being, to undertake projects that would fulfil our aim to be self sufficient & also beneficial to the whole DTE community. The hope was that the gardens would be maintained by members visiting site We, as a community decided a vegetable garden was a priority, the idea that members would be on site to maintain the watering and general maintenance was always utmost. To have vegetables & herbs for the Confest kitchens was the aim.

The wood shed came about when the weather started cooling down, the need for wood was paramount!!! We have been stir frying boch Choy pak Choy Kale Italian parsley. Our various vegetable seeds are starting to germinate too.
