PURPOSE OF THE WORKING BEE

Come and reconnect with the land !

Every now and then we meet on country to help maintain the properties and prepare it for our next ConFest.

We offer support preparing evening meals and snacks to be enjoyed around an evening fire .

We tend to the trees already planted and sometimes plant some more. 

For the green thumb types, the Roly poly / tumbleweed thorn bushes and the 3 corner jack have taken over and so we need to start to reduce their dominance ! ! !

MORNING MEETINGS AT THE HIVE KITCHEN

Just like when a festival is on - all volunteers attend A WHS tool box talk, organise daily tasks and work teams, allocate resources of machinery and tools, specify PPE and identify possible hazards. A large stock of PPE is reportedly on site for use.

COVID-19 PLAN

New South Wales Government restrictions are being eased further as of  Friday 18 February 2022. Covid-19 Safety Plans for “staff and customers” are optional for “businesses” involved in outdoor gatherings.   

The working bee complies with all the requirements as outlined "Site Compliance"
