Agenda item: The OC reimburse the board for any costs incurred due t the biased and improper chairing of the OC
Agenda details: On the 22nd of June one of the most disgraceful example of biased and uninformed chairing took place. The chair felt that they could overrule correspondence from the board and allow, in fact encourage and support the call for a board vacancy which the board had advised the OC did not exist as noted in the OC minutes dated 22nd of June. Despite efforts of some members to point out the errors of the chair, the chair responded with potentially removing them from the meeting should they wish to unpack the matter further. The chair later went on to self nominate for said vacant position. In summary the board advised and its noted in the minutes off the 22nd June there was no board vacancy, the chair ignored such advice, which is not the remit of the chair, the chair does not outrank the board. These self interest actions clearly show the bias, lack of impartiality and disregard for fairness one would expect from a chair The chair poorly advised the OC because of his bias.
Motion: The OC reimburse the board for any costs incurred due to the biased and improper chairing of the OC resulting in an unnecessary burden on all and the incurring of unnecessary costs.
