4 ArtSake - Information sheet for applicants
“In the spirit of Confest”
GENEROSITY
• Individual artists up to $1,000.00
• Larger sums can be given to a group piece, however, this will need to be discussed first with 4ArtSake coordinators.
• Special consideration to those using abundant on site materials ie. fallen logs and branches.
• Special consideration to those using recycled materials.
• Large installations to remain at Confest site unless an application is made to remove it.
• Recycled works: On site we have a junk yard which consists of steel, wood, 44 gallon drums, plastic piping, steel pipes, wood, old whitegoods, bits and pieces. We welcome you to take what you need.
• Ephemeral artwork to be either; stored on site (care taken by the artist) taken down or reused.
• Artwork is to be discussed with 4ArtSake Coordinators:
• Artwork must be safely installed
• Artwork plan to be submitted to include design and materials to be used.
• ConFest artwork can include but not limited to; creative art installations, theatre, dance, sculpture, landscaping, monuments, interactive art workshops (where an art installation is created from an art workshop for public viewing at Confest)
• Funding is available for an ART WORKING BEE on site residential stay, food and petrol costs for travel and material items for art installations (receipts will be reimbursed) otherwise a debit card issued in accordance with application agreement
