How does Fincom work?

For the record, ICT is not a committee, rather, ICT is a workgroup of volunteers that collaborate on various ICT projects

Fincom functions within DTE serviced by a team of volunteers who have signed a Code of Conduct agreement.

Most of the ongoing activities of the FinCom are maintaining current systems to support around 200 volunteers (mostly active members) who currently use these services and systems.

Normally, when Moulamein ConFest is held, the number of volunteers we support is around 460 volunteers throughout the year

Fincom budget for FYE2022.

Here is the budget being developed and considered by our team of volunteers.

This budget obviously excludes any Fincom costs directly related to ConFest/ConFab gatherings should they be held. 

This budget does not allow for any equipment repairs or replacements nor infrastructure expansions.

Any such requirements would therefore need to be applied for separately if required.

Moving forward, members of the FinCom are keen to continue donating their professional skills and experience to the cooperative notwithstanding challenges the current pandemic presents and resultant austerity measures adopted by the cooperative.  

Therefore the projected 2021/22 FinCom Budget is as of 13/05/2021 standing at $21,850 including 15% Contingency  - Link Spreadsheet

Therefore its appropriation is  $21,850
