Fire Advice

Wood fires can only be lit in one of the halved 44 gallon drums in the prepared and sanded areas around site.

Gas and other fuel cookers and lighting etc can only be used in the prepared and sanded communal cooking spaces provided and only when local Fire Restrictions allow.

Wood fires are not to be lit anywhere on Total Fire Ban days.If in doubt please ask at the information area for the current Fire Restriction status.

Candles are not to be used anywhere at ConFest.

COVID SAFETY PLAN - Site is in New South Wales

New South Wales Government restrictions are being eased further as of  Friday 18 February 2022. Covid-19 Safety Plans for “staff and customers” are optional for “businesses” involved in outdoor gatherings.   - Link

Anyone can participate in sport, exercise, and outdoor gatherings. 

Customers are not required to be fully vaccinated or carry vaccination evidence

COVID-19 Safe Check-in is not required

Customers and staff must follow the face mask rules. (See below)

“NSW Government update to COVID-19 settings

From the beginning of Friday, 25 February 2022, the following adjustments will be made to the settings:
Masks will only be mandated on public transport, planes, and indoors at airports, hospitals, aged and disability care facilities, corrections facilities, and indoor music festivals with more than 1,000 people;
 
Masks are encouraged for indoor settings where you cannot maintain a safe distance from others and for customer-facing retail staff to protect vulnerable people who must access these premises and services;”
