2022 AGM call for Director nominations and motion

Dear Member,

The Board has rescheduled the 2022 Annual General Meeting for:

Tuesday, 13 December 2022 at 7:30 pm, via Zoom

This is not the official Notice for the AGM; you will be sent a meeting notice 14 clear days before the meeting.

New call for Director nominations

It has been brought to the Board’s attention that a number of members were not notified of the call for nominations issued on 9th September 2022. It is the legal right of every eligible active member to stand for election to the board, and so the decision has been made to reopen nominations so that nobody misses out.

If you have already sent in your nomination, you need do nothing further. If you have not, and would like to, now is the time.

Vacant Positions

There are four full-term Directors’ positions to be filled at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Down To Earth Co-op. The following directors’ terms are expiring: Elisa Brock, Suzie Helson, Gary Lasky, Kate Shapiro.

Nominations are now open for these 4 Director positions. Active members are invited to nominate for one of these positions. Please lodge your nomination as early as possible.

Nominations must be received by 5pm AEDT, Monday 14 November, 2022

The three Directors whose current term continues are Brian Denham, Kathy Ernst, and Robin McPherson. The election will be conducted online with optional preferential voting, tallied using the Single Transferable Vote [STV] method, as in previous years.
